|Rescue Me ID: 16-01-31-00020Toothless (female)|
Poor Toothless came to us as a throw away. She was found wandering, starving, her fur so matted that she had trouble walking, covered in fleas, and with a severe upper respiratory infection. All fixed up now, and shaved down (her fur will grow back beautifully!), she is ready for her new furever family to step up and give her that purfect new home. Her name is Toothless because she has very few teeth. She also has a weird little limp in her right rear leg, which stops her from absolutely nothing! The vet checked her leg out thoroughly and found no breaks and no pain at all. She can jump up on anything, and over the baby gates in her foster home! Per the vet, she is about 7-8 years old, and he believes that the tooth issue and the gimpy leg may be the result of a neurological issue, possibly being the result of inbreeding by a bad breeder. She has a spay tattoo, and the vet said that it was the type that a breeder may use. Toothless is super sweet and affectionate, but has begun guarding the food bowls from the resident cats. Therefore, she would do best in a home with no other cats. Dogs don't faze her at all. The foster has a two year old daughter that carries Toothless around, and Toothless will lay comfy in her lap. She is spayed, negative for feline leukemia and FIV, dewormed, flea treated, and shaved down to get the mats off. Adoption fee is $200. If interested in this beautiful girl, please fill out an online application at www.angelsforanimalsmichigan.com. If you have any questions regarding this sweetheart, or any of our other pets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. (Less)
