|Rescue Me ID: 17-08-09-00247Candy (female)|
Candy is a PUREBRED Ragdoll. Seal Bi-color. A big slim girl about 12 pounds and in perfect health. She has been indoors all her life. Ragdoll cats do not have good outdoor survival skills and should be kept indoors. She is part of a 5 Ragdoll household. She sometimes urinates/marks places where one of our two senior cats have been lying. Our oldest female Ragdoll doesn't get along with her at all either so we feel like it could be a territorial thing. We have tried pheromone mists and collars but they don't seem to have any effect on her behavior. She is a super sweet and affectionate cat and we love her very much. She follows me around the house wherever I go. We feel that she would be better off perhaps in a household without any other cats. Not sure about dogs because we do not have any. She gets along great with our 2 younger male Ragdolls but sometimes when they are playing she likes to tease the boys into chasing her and that's also a time we caught her marking an area around where they were while they were chasing around playing. She has been spayed. Though she's timid she has liked it a lot when our granddaughter is over visiting. Candy is very curious about our granddaughter and likes to watch her play. Candy also has accepted hugs from her before. She has all her claws and uses the scratching posts. Not our furniture. (Less)
