I met the woman who adopted her and I knew that she was a loving caring person who I could trust to love and take care of Cupcake.      'Rescue Me' helped my husband and I find the purrrrrrfect pet! Not only did we find a sweet addition to our family, we met wonderful people who we now call friends. When I first saw TC I knew there was something special about him and when I read his story I could not wait to meet him! Having to put two of our own cats to sleep left an emptiness in our hearts that was difficult to bare. Losing a pet can be like losing a child and for us it was. 'Rescue Me' made our search easy and now we have a ragdoll cat to love and call our own. Although TC lives in our home, the connection with his first family will never be broken. Not only does TC have us to take care of him, but his first family will be there to answer questions and help with the transition to his new home.      Today Mr. Rosebudd went to his new kitty Daddy. This cat is going to be 4 years old, someone who careless threw him in a snowbank as a kitten. He survived pneumonia, caliciviris but is robust and the best cat ever. He has a ragdol's heart and with all that he's been through, deserves a long and loving life. I am fortunate to have found a new home for him thanks to your adoption service. Always in the cat's best interest, so thank you so much!

     Hi Jeff, Within 24 hours of posting my Ragdoll, Bella, I received a request from a woman who had recently lost her Ragdoll to cancer. My Bella has been a very lucky lady to have found such a loving person. They hit it off wonderfully which lessened the pain of having to let her go. Her previous owner mislead me to believe Bella had been with other cats amicably. Bella did not want to share limelight with my other cat and time was not going to change her mind. In having to do what's best for our animals' well being, it was a difficult decision but knowing how well LG and Bella hit it off --- love at first sight --- it was the right choice.      I needed someone to 'foster' Sophie for me while I had a double-lung transplant in Florida, which should be approx. 6-9 months, to 1 yr. I cannot begin to tell you how much this service has helped me. My heart and mind were in great distress as I knew I couldn't take her to Florida with me and I just couldn't bear to let her go permanently. I truly appreciate Rescue Me! because our high kill shelter has been full several months. If there was not this site I would have had a hard time finding a home for this beautiful young lady that is going to give Dominic and his wife and of course Ms. Bebe (their baby Pomeranian) so much enjoyment. These economic times have been painful for everyone... to add insult to injury many of us are no longer able to care for our beloved pets. Thank you!

     Thanks Jeff. Oscar was adopted by a lovely woman who rescues problem cats and tries to rehabilitate them. She fosters cats, including kittens that need to be bottle fed, in Forsyth County, NC. Oscar would not use his cat box all the time, usually when he was annoyed by not getting his way. For example, when I went out the back door and he had to stay inside, he would express his opinion in front of the door. This little habit made him very hard to place in another home. I tried to find a good home for him for months. RescueMe was a last resort, and I'm so glad that you were available for Oscar. Mardell

     Hi Jeff - The RescueMe.Org site was a blessing, and I do intend to make a donation once my husband returns to work (laid of for winter) Anyway, within an hour of posting, I had 3 responses for my ragdoll, and after a weekend, I had six! I was able to choose what I thought was the best permanent home for Ben, and we found the perfect fit. I am now going to try placing Ben's former nemesis, Brom - as he doesn't seem to appreciate my tiny army of Burmese kittens either. And the Burmese are NOT going anywhere. Thanks again - Nan

     Scooter was adopted a week ago by a lovely lady in Santa Barbara. We miss him terribly but knowing that he is in a loving home makes us all very happy. The site was extremely helpful. In the beginning however, I was bombarded by a scam artist that would ask for shipping money, etc. (I saved all the emails if you ever need them). I then thought this was never going to work out then I got lucky with a few really nice sincere people.
