Ann Baker, the original breeder of Ragdoll Cats, trademarked the breed name and started her own formal breed association. Ragdoll Cats are the ancestors of Ragamuffin Cats. Ragdoll Cats sometimes go limp when they are held. Ragdolls are now considered a sub-category of Ragamuffins. Ragdolls were first bred in the sixties.
